La Cantina di Franco is a wine bar provided with a small cooking service where at any time guests can taste a wide variety of wines and food prepared with the care and genuineness of a homemade cooking. Born from Franco Caprino’s passion for quality products and his love and interest for wine, La Cantina di Franco is always ready to offer a remarkable selection of food and wine along with more than 3000 kinds of wine, champagne, passiti, spirits and a wide range of gins, port wines and calvados. Furthermore you can taste a rich assortment of delicious pickles, cold cuts, preserves, biscuits and desserts prepared according to the best Italian tradition.
The project was born in Milan in 2015, from an idea of five wine merchant friends, who joined to start a partnership linked to Expo 2015. Five different realities each one with its own peculiarities, located in five of the most important districts in Milan. WineMI collaborates with selected wine farms and organizes collective and individual events throughout the year.
